Ferrari’s new vehicles, the Ferrari F430 and Superamerica Convertible, are both using high-performance hub bearing units supplied by SKF. The hub bearing units help improve vehicle handling through increased hub stiffness that supports the heavy forces endured during cornering. The units have been validated and proven to meet Ferrari’s stringent performance requirements through both bench and road testing, including running on Ferrari’s own proving grounds. SKF has worked with Ferrari since 1947. The Scuderia Ferrari F1 racecars contain more than 150 bearings and seals designed and manufactured exclusively by SKF.
