SKF has received a “Qualitas” Fiat Quality Prize for 1997. Fiat has been presenting “Qualitas” awards to its top suppliers for more than 70 years.
Last year Fiat subjected 615 suppliers to thorough scrutiny for the award. The judges looked at product quality, product reliability, flexibility, innovative solutions and cooperation, as well as technical development, sales organisation, logistics and manufacture. Only 23 of the 615 companies received the sought-after award.
