SKF has been awarded an agreement with ZF Sachs Italy to supply 140,000 oil seals and wiper seals for motorcycle forks. With this agreement, SKF is strengthening its position in the area of fork sealing solutions for high-performance two-wheelers. Many of ZF Sachs’ customers are among the top motorcycle brands.

With these high-performing two-wheeler suspension seals, oil retention and dirt protection have been improved by eliminating stick-slip effects. The newly developed material has a special formula that creates a long-lasting self-lubrication capability of the seal during operation.
