SKF Linear Motion recently developed a new product – the CRAB rotary actuator – that is reliable, simple to install and cost-effective. In addition, it can be remotely operated and is maintenance free.
The CRAB actuator is designed to provide partial rotary motion. With the actuator, OEM designers and manufacturers can upgrade their switching systems so that power companies can maintain their own stringent service standards.
CRAB actuators are supplied ready to mount. The units are made from off the shelf components that can be assembled to fit the user’s individual requirements.
