Investment in Kaydon Brazil

SKF is investing some $27 million in a new factory at its existing SKF Campus in Cajamar, Brazil. The 71,000-square-foot facility, which will employ up to 150 people, will produce Kaydon slewing ring bearings for wind turbine manufacturers in the Brazilian wind energy segment.

Brazil is one of the world’s fastest-growing markets for wind energy, with predicted annual installation growth of between 2,000 and 3,000 megawatts.
