SKF has issued an interactive CD-ROM titled Electronic Handbook – Rolling Bearings in Industrial Gearboxes. The handbook includes a number of calculations for gearboxes of up to 10 shafts. Input to calculations is easily made on selection of bearings from the database. An integrated unit converter is included, as well as a calculator and a notebook. Other features are videos and animations showing mounting and dismounting of bearings. For more information, contact your local SKF company.
