MARLIN Condition Detector ProbeThis hand-held instrument is a sensor that can measure and display readings of vibration and temperature. The probe also will indicate when alert or danger alarm levels have been reached or exceeded via color-coded LEDs. The device measures two types of vibration: overall velocity vibration, which indicates general machinery faults such as imbalance or misalignment; and overall enveloped acceleration vibration, which provides early detection of problems related to bearings, gearboxes and lubrication.
MARLIN QuickConnect Sensor Studs

These mechanical studs are mounted directly on the equipment and used to enhance the accuracy of the data collected. The studs allow for a secure mechanical connection between the equipment to be monitored and the detection probe. Studs are permanently mounted to a specific measurement point on the machinery, such as a bearing cap.
MARLIN QuickConnect Smart Studs

These “smart” connectors are equipped with a memory chip that can be programmed to note alarm conditions and previous measurement information. With a smart connector in place, the pre-set alert and danger alarm limits are automatically compared to the current readings.
MARLIN data manager

This hand-held, pen-based computer allows easy collection, storage and review of vibration and process information. The data manager features a touch screen display, handwriting recognition, and bar code scanner for instant identification of bar-coded measurement points. The Condition Detector Probe can be connected to the data manager, allowing users to upload temperature and vibration measurements to the data manager for immediate display. The unit also stores the measurements for future analysis and review. The data manager then allows for comparisons of measurements over time, providing users with an effective tool for establishing trends in machinery and process operating conditions. In addition, user-defined inspections allow the user to record visual inspections, prompting them to perform on-the-spot proactive activities.
PRISM4 Surveyor

This powerful software tool is used in conjunction with MARLIN to manage and analyze data, identify trends, and allow for easy dissemination of critical information throughout the organization. PRISM provides for long-term storage of measurements and other data and easy access and retrieval when needed. Through its database management tools, PRISM also makes it easy for users to setup, generate and modify reports and to analyze data trends.
