New acquisition

SKF has acquired Scandrive Control AB, a leading Swedish manufacturer of integrated servo gears for the printing industry.

Scandrive employs 22 people and has annual revenues of about 3.5 million U.S. dollars.

The company manufactures compact integrated actuation units incorporating a servo gear technology. These units are specially developed for high-speed and high-quality offset printing presses.

Scandrive will be part of the Printing Business Unit within the SKF Industrial Division.

This new assortment complements SKF’s offering to the printing industry, strengthening the company’s position as a leading supplier to this customer segment.
