Special team sponsorship

A team of intellectually disabled French young people was sponsored by SKF to play in the Kim Källström Trophy/Gothia Cup 2012 in Gothenburg, Sweden, which was held during the summer. Organized by Gothia Cup in cooperation with Special Olympics Europe, the competition creates understanding between young people with different conditions through their common interest in football. Thirty teams from 14 nations competed this year in Sweden.

SKF France organized a tournament involving more than 150 players at the SKF Meet the World competition in Lyon, France, to select the sponsored team, IME Le Pavillon.
