Greek shipping company Tsakos Columbia Shipmanagement S.A. (TCM) is equipping its entire fleet with SKF Marine Condition Monitoring Kits, an advanced condition-based maintenance solution. The detailed maintenance programme enables a range of benefits, from preventing unexpected failures in critical machinery to providing early indications of possible problems in auxiliary machinery. TCM provides management, operation and crewing services for a diversified fleet of some 70 ships, consisting of tanker, container and dry cargo ships, with a total capacity of about 8 million deadweight tonnes.
