Making aluminum foil is a hot business. The annealing of the concast aluminum block is critical to making the material soft enough to be rolled into foil. The process runs at 900 degrees Fahrenheit for 13 hours, during which both the slab and the transportation truck, including its bearings, are subjected to this temperature.
