SKF will be a main partner of the world’s biggest soccer tournament for girls and boys, Gothia Cup, for three years starting in 2006 and with a special focus on 2007. The cup, one of the activities SKF is undertaking to celebrate its 100-year anniversary, was a natural choice.

SKF will be a main partner of the world’s biggest soccer tournament for girls and boys, Gothia Cup, for three years starting in 2006 and with a special focus on 2007. The cup, one of the activities SKF is undertaking to celebrate its 100-year anniversary, was a natural choice.

“SKF is a truly global company, reaching out to people all over the world,” says Tom Johnstone, president and CEO of SKF. “Our products are found in all kinds of industries, households, vehicles and many sports. SKF also plays an active role in all the communities in which we operate.”

Says Dennis Andersson, general of the Gothia Cup: “The agreement gives Gothia Cup security for the future – financially, by continuing the development of the tournament, and also globally, by the fantastic network SKF has built up around the world in almost 100 years.”
