The SKF Machine Analyst™ platform, which encompasses a family of reliability software applications for managing, monitoring and analysing machinery vibration and condition data, now supports online condition monitoring. With Machine Analyst, all online operations can be done on any networked computer.

Initially developed by SKF Reliability Systems to operate with SKF’s handheld data collectors, Machine Analyst also functions as the online software, providing analysis of data from permanently mounted sensors and local monitoring units.

Ed Bondoc, SKF Reliability Systems’ product manager for online systems, points out that current users of previous versions of SKF software e.g.  PRISM4 for Windows, can easily move up to Machine Analyst, increasing the capabilities of their online systems.
