Investment in Kaydon Brazil

SKF is investing some 24 million euros in a new factory at its existing SKF Campus in Cajamar, Brazil. The 6,600-square-metre facility, which will employ up to 150 people, will produce Kaydon slewing ring bearings for wind turbine manufacturers in the Brazilian wind energy segment.

Brazil is one of the world’s fastest-growing markets for wind energy, with predicted annual installation growth of between 2,000 and 3,000 megawatts.
