US-based Kaydon, part of the SKF Group, has secured a long-term agreement to supply slewing ring bearings to a major wind turbine manufacturer that serves the North American and Brazilian wind segments. Kaydon Corporation was acquired by SKF at the end of 2013. The company is a diversified industrial manufacturer within three areas: friction-control products (bearings), velocity-control products and speciality products, including environmental services.
