New Global Technical Centres
The two centres will create a Global Technical Centre Europe structure that will allow SKF to fully utilize its global footprint and resources to develop innovations across its technology platforms. SKF already has a Global Technical Centre India in Bengaluru and is expanding its Global Technical Centre China and moving it to the new SKF campus in the Jiading district of Shanghai. “One of SKF’s driving forces is to continue to deliver world-leading research and innovation and to develop new products and solutions that offer significant energy savings for our customers,” says SKF President and CEO Tom Johnstone. “These two new centres are part of a global network of technical centres that SKF is developing.”
