New inline world record
Tristan Loy, a French inline skating enthusiast, beat his own world record by skating 36 kilometres, 460 metres and 52 centimetres in one hour. His previous record, set in 1998, was 600 metres shorter.
The astounding and historical feat took place last year on the Olympic 400-metre track in Grenoble, France. Loy was skating with a new Salomon skate frame system and wheels, fitted with 608-2Z bearings from SKF.
