New ultrasonic leak detector

The SKF ultrasonic leak detector, TMSU 1, is a sensitive, high-quality, user-friendly instrument enabling the detection of air leaks by means of ultrasound. Leaks cause fluid to flow from a high-pressure to a low-pressure environment, creating turbulence. The turbulence generates high-frequency sounds (ultrasounds) that can be detected by TMSU 1. The sensitive piezoelectric crystal in the sensor enables the end user to quickly guide the instrument to the loudest point, which helps pinpoint the leak location.

The ultrasonic leak detector is suitable for detecting, tracing and diagnosing the source of all kinds of leaks, such as compressed air, gases, steam and vacuum systems. It can also be used to verify the correct operation of steam traps.
