SKF has received an order in excess of 15.6 million euros for the supply of bearing sets to Chongqing Gearbox Co., Ltd., a leading Chinese wind power gearbox manufacturer. The bearings will be used in Chongqing’s 1.5 MW and 2.0 MW wind turbine gearboxes.

Chongqing Gearbox Co., Ltd. is a subsidiary of China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation that specializes in manufacturing gearboxes, couplings and dampers.
