German company ENERTRAG Energiedienst GmbH has ordered SKF WindCon condition monitoring systems for 126 wind turbines in nine wind parks.Eight of the wind parks are in Germany and one is in Southern France.

The WindCon monitoring systems will provide ENERTRAG with a complete overview of the condition of its wind turbines.

The system enables the early detection of emerging problems, allowing preventive maintenance to be scheduled so that unplanned and costly downtime can be avoided.

SKF will train the ENERTRAG service staff in system handling and machine diagnostics for wind turbines and will initially provide remote diagnostics for the first wind park, which has 30 wind turbines.
