Acquisition of lubrication systems company in Argentina

SKF has acquired Cirval S.A., a company specializing in the design, manufacture and sales of centralized lubrication systems. Cirval has annual sales of 2.5 million US dollars and 60 employees.

The company has a strong position in the areas of engineering, product development and customized solutions, particularly for the steel industry. Headquarters and manufacturing operations are situated in Rosario, Argentina.

The Cirval product range will further strengthen SKF’s market position in Latin America in the area of lubrication systems, complementing the current SKF lubrication portfolio.

With the integration of the engineering resources of Cirval and SKF, a regional application centre for lubrication systems will be established to support the market in addition to the existing local centre in Brazil.
