SKF has been chosen by IBA (Ion Beam Applications) to provide global spare part distribution. The service will be provided by SKF Logistics Services, a business of SKF Service Division.

SKF Logistics Services, which was developed to offer SKF distributors an excellent level of service, is operating a global time- phased delivery network that is expanding to an increasing number of external customers.

IBA delivers solutions in cancer diagnosis and therapy.

The company also offers sterilization and ionization solutions to improve the hygiene and safety of everyday life.

The agreement is initially for five years, but the intention is for a long-standing cooperation between SKF Logistics Services and IBA.
