Oil condition checker
OilCheck TMEH 1 is a new hand-held tool from SKF to determine degradation and contamination of mineral and synthetic oils. The easy-to-use tool makes it possible to optimise intervals between oil changes. TMEH 1 measures and compares the dielectric constant in a used oil sample with a fresh sample of the same lubricant. The difference indicates loss of lubricating properties and mechanical wear. OilCheck TMEH 1 is a small tool, measuring only 250 x 95 x 32 millimetres, and the battery is good for about 3,000 tests.
