SKF acquires Magnetic Group

SKF has acquired the Magnetic Group, a leading manufacturer of actuation systems. With the addition of Magnetic’s product range, SKF Actuators (a business area within SKF Linear Motion and Precision Technologies) is reinforcing its position in the fast-growing market for electromechanical actuators, linear drives and actuation systems. The Magnetic Group, headquartered in Liestal, Switzerland, has 370 employees and an annual turnover of some EUR 50 million.

Magnetic also has manufacturing facilities at Maulburg, Germany, and service and sales companies in Australia, Denmark, France, Germany and the United States.
