SKF has signed a three-year agreement for a joint internship programme with the School of Mechanical Engineering, Jiao Tong University, Shanghai, China.

The cooperation includes setting up SKF scholarships, providing the school with bearings, maintenance tools and relevant materials, and running technical seminars. SKF will also run an internship programme to help the students integrate theory with practical experience. In addition, SKF will attend the school’s seminar on future careers and recruit graduates with high potential.

The School of Mechanical Engineering of Jiao Tong University was established in 2002 and is a combination of the Mechanical Engineering Department (established in 1921) and the Department of Power Mechanical Engineering (established in 1908).
