Taiwanese machine tool manufacturer Quaser Machine Tools Inc has given SKF the “Best Supplier in 2003” award. SKF has been manufacturing spindles for the Quaser machining centres since 2002 and working as sole supplier since the middle of 2003.

Quaser President and CEO Edward Shar commended SKF for its “top-quality spindles, most up-to-date technology, outstanding service as well as excellent cooperation from the very first day of the business contact.”

Quaser is the fourth-largest maker of high-speed, heavy-duty machine tools in Taiwan. Some 80 percent of its production is exported to Europe.
