In a contest in connection with the Terotech maintenance fair in Slovenia, held in May 2008, SKF SPEEDI-SLEEVE received the silver award. SKF SPEEDI-SLEEVE is a solution designed to solve the problem of worn seal counter faces at shaft ends.

This thin-walled sleeve has a high-quality finish to provide an optimal counter face for a radial shaft seal. The sleeve is simply pushed in position over the worn area, thus providing a sealing surface that is as good as a new surface on the shaft. There is no shaft disassembly or machining involved and costly downtime is minimized.

An expert committee awarded products exhibited at the Terotech fair for being innovative, cost-saving or superior in other ways.
