Richard Childress Racing (RCR) has signed a multi-year sponsorship agreement with SKF. With the start of the 2005 NASCAR season, SKF will hold sponsorship postitions on No 07 (Dave Blaney), No 29 (Kevin Harvick) and No 31 (Jeff Burton). Additionally, the agreement includes a technical partnership between RCR and SKF engineers. Both parties will communicate worldwide to develop new technologies aimed at building on RCR’s racing performance, as well as new products intended to increase the safety and performance of consumer vehicles. “The opportunity to work with RCR engineers will benefit both parties. We will use resources from each SKF division to improve the performance of the RCR racing team,” says Rob Jenkinson, manager of SKF Racing Unit, Automotive Division.
