SKF Automotive Division has launched a number of new products aimed at the auto industry:

• The SKF Turbocharger Ball Bearing Unit for turbocharger and supercharger engines. The unit offers reduced fuel consumption, reduced CO₂ emissions, increased power density, outstanding transient performance, good cold start-up performance and simplified assembly.
• The robust SKF Rotor Positioning Sensor-Bearing Unit offers optimized electric motor efficiency. This unit helps electric power steering systems reduce fuel consumption and CO₂ emissions compared to hydraulic systems.
• SKFs application-specific hub bearing unit is developed for compact cars. This design offers minimized power loss, increased power density, reduced weight, optimized material usage and simplified assembly.
