Consumers are about to experience a revolution in their laundry rooms, thanks to the autobalancing technology from SKF Autobalance Systems. The technology, DynaSpinTM, counteracts imbalance by using natural forces to automatically shift balls within a casing to maintain a constant balance.

Consumers are about to experience a revolution in their laundry rooms, thanks to the autobalancing technology from SKF Autobalance Systems. The technology, DynaSpinTM, counteracts imbalance by using natural forces to automatically shift balls within a casing to maintain a constant balance.

The result is a near-silent washing machine with a 93 percent decrease in vibration compared with standard washing machines. This means higher, more efficient speeds and a larger load capacity that uses up to 35 percent less electricity. In addition, with no need for springs and dampers, a machine could weigh as much as 38 kilograms less than current models.

Washing machines are not the only appliance to benefit from the new technology. DynaSpin can reduce vibration for many products where balance is an issue during rotation.
